Yup real, and its a flair not a backflip. Should look up on youtube you see some pretty crazy people do some crazy stuff on bikes.

Omg this is awesome! would probably die in like 5 seconds if I tried that! Specially with my villycustoms.com beach cruiser, haha it's extremely pretty but it would probably die with me if we tried that! :S
