Yes you can hang on a powerline as long as you are NOT grounded ie propperly isolated! Allso it is possible to get hit by lightning and survive..

@zomgfail - you are absolutely right. You can hang from one powerline and be fine - just make sure you do not touch anything else - ie, another power line.
